The official rules surrounding court etiquette and good sportsmanship are what makes sure the game of tennis is enjoyed by both players and spectators. Recreational Tennis at the club level is a social game requiring basic consideration and politeness for your opponent and others. All members and guests must follow our rules and etiquette when visiting our club.
Please follow TPTC's dress code and court etiquette guidelines:
1.) PLAYERS MUST WEAR NON MARKING TENNIS SHOES
2.) PLAYERS MUST WEAR PROPER TENNIS ATTIRE

TPTC has a dress code in effect during all club hours. All members and guests are expected to abide by the dress code at all times when on court. Failure to follow the dress code will result in the loss of playing privileges. Recognized tennis clothing must be worn when playing. No jeans, bare chests, cut-off shorts or tops, tank tops with large armholes, crop tops/sports bras baring midriff, and any attire with offensive wording or logos are NOT proper attire.

3.) PLAYERS MUST CHECK IN WITH THE MONITOR BEFORE GOING ON TO THE COURTS
Court time is booked for One (1) hour. Doubles can be booked for two consecutive hours. ALL COURT BOOKINGS MUST BE DONE ONLINE. NO WALK UPS ALLOWED.
4.) NO SPECTATORS ON THE COURT
Up to 4 playing members or paid guests with a member are allowed on the court at one time.
5.) NO PLAYING ON WET COURTS
It is at the discretion of our supervisors when play needs to be suspended due to weather.
6.) ALL MEMBERS MUST ADHERE BY THE BYLAWS AND CONSTITUTION
7) TREATMENT OF STAFF

 Members must treat our staff with dignity and respect.

Abuse of staff will not be tolerated and can result in the possible revocation of membership.

The Club Pro's

8. The Club Pro's at TPTC are the only ones allowed to give tennis lessons at TPTC. • They have priority access to Court #5 and #6  at times approved by the Club Board of Directors.  

 
 Etiquette
Courtesy is expected of each member and non-member, at the club and when representing the club at another club. On the court, this includes:
  1. Loud, abusive, or profane language and abuse of a racquet or a ball, are not permitted.
  2. Smoking, canned beverages, and food are prohibited on the courts.
  3. No more than 3 balls are allowed on a court at a time, except for courts 5 and 6 when being used for clinics or by a Club tennis professional.
  4. To cross behind a court, wait for a stoppage in play on that court.
  5. To secure your ball from another court, wait for a stoppage in play on that court to retrieve or to request it.
