ABOUT OUR CLUB

Thorncliffe Park Tennis Club (TPTC) is a welcoming summer outdoor club operating in the City of Toronto, Ontario, since the 1970's, with six lighted hard courts located inside Leaside Park.

As you can see from our logo we pay homage to our name and history;  Located in Leaside Park, the land that Thorncliffe Park Tennis Club sits on was actually a part of the original Thorncliffe Park Raceway.(Thorncliffe Park Raceway was a racetrack in LeasideOntarioCanada that operated from 1917 until 1953. It was located east of Millwood Road, south of Eglinton Avenue East and north of the CPR railroad tracks)

The Club's mission is to provide an opportunity for members of the community to develop tennis skills in an environment that promotes sportsmanship, friendship and fun. At TPTC we strive to promote the sport and encourage participation by players of all ages, levels and abilities. In 2022, we resurfaced the tennis courts all while re-vitalizing all tennis programs and instruction at affordable prices.

We encourage you to spend the time to review all we have to offer and to talk to our friendly executive and staff about finding membership and program options that are right for you and your family.

New members are welcome. Please see our Programs page and Membership page for more details. TPTC is a member of the Ontario Tennis Association (OTA), the official governing body of tennis in Ontario Tennis Association and Tennis Toronto .We have  been awarded the  OTA's 2014 Member Club Achievement award.
